Share a tip for a chance to win a Nanny Transitions Mug

I know from experience that the best way to gather information is to go straight to the source.
If you are a nanny in transition, or if you have been a nanny transition at any point in your career (which includes most of us) share your best tip for getting through the tough times.
I will be giving away a beautiful "Nanny Transitions Mug" on Monday July 24th.
Just leave a tip in the comments section and you will be entered to win.
The Mug recipient will be chosen via random.org and announced on this blog July 24th.

  1. When you face a transition try to be honest and really think about what you want. Then write out a short-term goal and a long-term goal. This will help you keep your focus when self-doubt and challenging issues arise as they so often do.

  2. Wear water-proof mascara because at a moment you least expect it the tears will come.

  3. I think one of the best thing you can do when you are going through a transition is to seek support from fellow nannies. I think talking about what you are going through can lead to positive thinking about what is going to come. Sometimes we all need to cry, vent and laugh and fellow nannies are such a great support team.
